Hello and welcome back to another blog. For this one I will be outlining how you can boost the quantity and quality of website traffic through the use of SEO. SEO focuses on traffic that is natural rather than direct traffic that is paid. There are two forms, on-page and off-page SEO. First I'll show you how you can optimise on-page SEO.

This refers to parts of the website that are within your control. So how do you optimise this? 

1) Make sure to identify trending search terms associated with your business' industry

2) Once identified, incorporate these search terms throughout your website where possible

3) Add pictures and videos all throughout your website. This will keep the viewer engaged which improves the quality of traffic keeping them on the page longer and increases the quantity as the it improves visibility in the search results.

4) Finally my last point for on-page SEO is creating quality meta and title tags. Keep them clear and concise and most of all, make sure you include keywords that relate to your business. Do not include vague language.

This refers to all the efforts to increase search rankings done outside of your website. Ways of improving this:

5) Make sure to link content. This can be through natural links (trust and endorsement between two organisations), manually built links through direct link building efforts (asking other companies or influencers to link) or self-created links.

6) Social media presence is another huge aspect that can really optimise SEO. Any mention on a social media platform can be a link.

7) Building trust then is another crucial factor with regards to point 5. Trust enables the opportunity to link in your content in the first place.

8) My last tip is probably the toughest to achieve but is creating a quality brand. By doing this you will gain a loyal fanbase which is key for recurring traffic.
