Module 1 - Learn About The Salesforce Business Analyst Role
As I'm doing the BBS (Hons), when I was looking through the list of potential modules this one stood out to me as it ties into my course very well. First off was learning exactly what is a Salesforce Business Analyst? This comprises of a project based business improvement role. A way it was put that I found interesting was like an interpreter. Someone who has to communicate between IT and business stakeholders ensuring all involved are working together at their best capacity to achieve the best results. Breaking down and solving problems at the forefront I think this would be a very interesting role as it would constantly test you forcing the individual to evolve and become the best version of themselves.
Module 2 - CRM Analytics Watchlist: Quick Look
This module I wanted to take as it was centred around CRM which is what Salesforce is all about. To be honest this one was not as beneficial as the first one I completed. It was a beginner module and I could see how it would be a good module for someone familiar with the Salesforce software but as I am new to it a lot of it went over my head. This module told me how to navigate through the watchlist which was inciteful but there was a lot of jargon that I didn't get as I'm not familiar with, e.g. the likes of the Dashboard.
Module 3 - How Data + AI + CRM Work Together
After feeling like I chose a poor module for my second I spent much longer picking my third. This definitely was the right choice as it was much more beneficial to me. The topic really ties into what have been learning in class. It excellently outlined the benefits that can be seen through the harmonisation of Data, AI & CRM with regards to sales, Customer service, marketing, commerce and IT.
